TV Mounting FAQ — Green Bay WI

How much does TV mounting cost in Green Bay?

Standard flat mount on drywall with studs: $100-$175. Articulating mount, above-fireplace, masonry, or in-wall cable hiding adds to that. Most jobs land in the $100-$300 range. We quote before we drill.

Do you provide the wall mount or do I buy it?

Either way. We can pick one up for the job, or you can supply your own. Send us the model number ahead of time so we can confirm it's rated for your TV's weight.

Can you hide the cables inside the wall?

Yes. We use a code-compliant in-wall recessed power kit. HDMI and other low-voltage cables run through a passthrough plate. Looks completely clean.

Is mounting a TV over my fireplace safe?

It depends on the heat output. Wood-burning fireplaces get hot enough to damage modern TVs; gas units are usually fine. We assess your specific setup.

Can you mount on brick, stone, or a fireplace surround?

Yes - we use masonry anchors rated for the wall material and the TV's weight.

Will my TV come off if someone bumps it?

Not if it's mounted into studs (which is how we always do it on drywall). Drywall anchors alone are how TVs end up on the floor.
